NORMAL MARKET SIZE

NORMAL MARKET SIZE
(NMS) система классификации акций, заменившая в 1991 г. систему с использованием "альфы", "беты", "гаммы", "дельты", внедренную после "Большого взрыва" (Big Bang) на Международной фондовой бирже Соединенного Королевства и Республики Ирландии (International Stock Exchange of the U.K. and the Republic of Ireland, ISE). Предыдущая система была мерой корпоративного статуса, силы и выживаемости. Новая система имеет 12 категорий, основанных на величине сделки, являющейся нормальной для каждой ценной бумаги. Система устанавливает размер сделки, в пределах которого обязаны действовать маркет-мейкеры.
